SMT is delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established and successful business based at their modern facility in Biggleswade.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous customer service experience who enjoys speaking with customers, solving problems and working as part of a busy and supportive team.
Our client is a leading UK business with an extensive national presence as well as operations internationally. Due to the continued growth of their online operation, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Customer Service team.
The Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting customers and internal teams with online orders, enquiries and general customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling inbound and outbound calls with customers and internal branches
Processing customer orders placed through the website
Processing orders received from internal branches
Communicating with customers via online chat and email
Tracking customer orders and liaising with courier networks
Supporting customers with website queries and assisting them with placing orders
Resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
Providing excellent customer service throughout the customer journey
Completing general office administration and customer service duties
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoys helping customers.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience within an office based customer service environment
Experience communicating with customers over the telephone and via email
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong work ethic and the ability to use your own initiative
A positive, friendly and professional approach
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Full training will be provided on the company’s internal systems and processes.
